The artist who produced this statue is from NYC.

But clearly not from Harlem



And the sculptor wanted to make something so abstract that it made no sense. Like those architects who can't build buildings anymore and will just throw up a big cube building and call it "modern" architecture.

Now Boston obviously approved it because they're and don't want anything properly representing Black people in their city.
