I'm glad you see it...They like to use terms and phrases to scare people and get ratings. One year it was "Nuclear Hurricane."The fear mongering and daily news made this experience much worse than what it was.
This is the first hurricane I've ever experienced, I basically got caught down here in the middle of this bullsh*t. I came in this thread a few times and it was death and destruction coming to Tampa. Social media was even worse. Couldn't sleep Monday and Tuesday night. Stopped checking this thread and the local news too. Stayed inside, my pops took care of everything else, made sure safety procedures were followed, we woke up this morning and the worst was a plastic fence that got mangled up. Smh.I'm glad you see it...They like to use terms and phrases to scare people and get ratings. One year it was "Nuclear Hurricane."
The tornadoes were crazy around my area yesterday tho. I don't think that was in the cards for anyone..it was a normal day, no rain. We were getting warning alerts and I was like ahhh, probably nothing, but I kept my ass indoors.
Tornadoes were like: Surprise, Surprise!
