No one cares other than you people who think consuming rap is about something hearing the best music

You make great music that people feel and you folk will listen, too much shyt going on to worry about how the sausage is made in entertainment industry

Breh you're so disingenuous and full of shyt it's insane. Do you work for OVO?

First off the shyt you're constantly saying "no one cares about" Drake clearly cares about. If he didn't care about his standing as an MC....purely as an MC, completely outside of any bullshyt "entertainment industry" nonsense....why in the fukk would he lurk the underground battle scene? Why would he say he wants to battle? Why would he call out somebody like Murder Mook?

Murder fukking Mook. Not one of his peers. A random underground rap darling. The only thing he has to gain from any of that is credibility and bragging rights as an MC.

Matter of fact, scratch all that. If Drake don't care about how people perceive him and his music....and he's just an artist from "the sausage factory"....why did he get offended that Obama picked Kendrick over him?

Just say you're a casual rap fan and YOU don't care about any of this shyt.

Fred.

:comeon: This shows that most of you didn't listen to the interview. I'm not caping for Drake, but Majid Jordan didn't expose anything. They are part of a team of producers who work for OVO and Drake. What these guys said about the process is not any different than someone like Ye or Jay making an album with their team of producers and collaborators. Just because it's Drake, y'all bend the truth.

No one listened to the interview. The OP has an agenda because he got shytted on in that Hotline bling thread

Every album is a collaborative process where ideas, flows, subjects are given to the artist on the album cycle so they can maximize the money and promotion

If he's in the pop lane so be it but this hopscotching back and forth shyt needs to stop. Dude bragged for years about how nice he was as an MC. Said he was so nice he would battle Murder Mook. He said all kinds of shyt a strictly pop/commercial star wouldn't say, and his fans ate it up. Now they got amnesia.

If I was his "peer" K Dot I would be laughing my ass off at the thought of dude even fixing his mouth to compare himself to me.

Fred.

I agree. A rapper should check him on that but everybody has their tails between their legs. At the top J Cole & Kendrick have thrown their minuscule jabs but that's all its gonna be. If its gonna be from someone, its gotta be from someone at the top who has writing skills.

Some rappers scared because secretly they want a drake feature or they don't want to get blackballed (which is a righteous concern btw, fukk dissing somebody if its gonna fukk up the bread that feeds your family)

The rest of the rappers cant say anything because they have come up in writing camps doing work for other people or they have had shyt written for them so they cant say anything as its hippo-critical. Hence the deafening silence on commentary on the situation from rappers.

Even though what Drake is is mostly fake, I applaud him on his business acumen, especially being an outsider who has accepted the reality of the music industry and built his brand and label accordingly.
It goes to show how everybody is in a daze when it comes to what the music industry really is on the most part. Infact, that is the only reason why something like this can happen to a rap audience, its degree is unprecedented imo.

Lol I like drakes music. But I can admit when dude has some wack shyt and is a biter etc ..he's not hip hop. Sure he raps. But he's not writing his shyt and This just further confirms the ghost writing rumors and why Drake can't ever be considered a top anything rapper. I'll still enjoy his music. But he's a fraud.

Truth is so sinister, Ive been telling ya nikkas for months on how they do it :wow:

They find unsusceptible innocent artists on Soundcloud n Twitter fly em over to boot training camps.
