wow dudes is sleeping on this. This guy really don't make music period

Basically drake is this guy at the opera
Why is this so unbelievable?

Notice I didnt reply to eem. Wouldnt be surprise if he's on OVO staff. They literally have people who just comb the boards like coli and ronnieworld, soundcloud and bandcamp pages looking for the next easy hit. Those same people are gonna defend it and lie, or dikkride at any cost. Im not even a drake hater just one person who shared my one experience dealing with the ovo camp

Good for you for copyrighting your own work.

The internet has made it easier for these corporations to take stuff from others. All these platforms, Soundcloud especially, has made it a lot easier for them to seek you out.

Thing that some people don't know is this. Once you upload anything onto any platform you no longer own the rights to it. Soundcloud has probably determined it's not in their business interest to take music from other artist and farm it out to large record labels, but the day they do, they can legitimately claim rights to the music and could farm it out if they wanted to.

This is the reason Apple is getting into the game and why there was such a big fight between them and other artists. It's really no wonder that Dr. Dre and Drake, two of the main people who use ghostwriters are with Apple Music if you look at it from this perspective.

Lowkey, one of the worst things that ever happen to Hip Hop was having it go international. nikkas in Canada, and London like @WickedGames in here talking about "the culture" :bryan: :laff:

Don't respect the rules, don't know shyt about it, br talking about "the culture"
Like it or not my city influences culture  all these rappers come to London and soak up sauce. That's why niqqas ain't wearing timbs and baggy boot cup jeans anymore.

Kanye the most influential rapper and is heavily euro influenced

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
A lot of these rappers are "performers" so when you expect them to write their entire album and have a say in it, its like expecting an actor to write the script just because they act in the movie. What i am trying to say is that their only obligation is to perform the material given to them.

Not every rapper has concentration camps but quite a few do. This is for major artists.
Smalltime rappers do not as much. I mean i've had sessions where all types of artists that are not poppin anymore come through and the label doesnt care about them so the label throws no resources behind them.
Like I said. I know it happens. And I'm not talkin bout small time rappers. I said not every rapper takes reference verses. More like a Nothing On You situation. But I know when it comes to these mainstream nikkas now nikkas be writing for em. I was one of if not the first people on here to say Rae Shremmurd don't be writing they shyt.

It's the lengths you go to defend him is..:scust:

I like Drakes music too, just like Dr. Dres and Puffy. They all the same too dnt you agree?

The lengths? I just like to discuss music I like. Funny shyt is I like a few rappers more than Drake. Drake is just the topic for everyone these days. For people who love and hate him.

I think Drake is comparable to Kanye on the rap creating process. Both have had help obviously but it's factual both have written for others too. They and there team have a good ear for what will move people musically and use it to their advantage

Serious question:

Do you work for the OVO street team? :lupe:

Does Drake know that you exist? :heh:

How is it that people are "hating" on Drake, by simply acknowledging the fact that he has a team of ghostwriters :what:

You can't do that cause you're destroying the illusion of greatness.

You know what aesthetic I'm talking about. Obviously people Rock timbs but not with the whole baggy jeans, tall tees and du rags

Not people who can dress anyway :pachaha:
That right!

Those who know how to dress, wear skin tight jogger pants with various prints and bright colors! :wrist:
