That's all these nikkas do lol. All this "everyone does it" shyt and yet these same nikkas been telling me to WATCH for reference tracks of other artists drop. It didn't happen. Now they saying all artists have writer concentration camps :dead:

Maybe if some actual evidence starts poppin up I could take them seriously but we know that the only reason they are saying this shyt is because their idol Drake has been shown to not be very creative at all..

:pachaha:
Thats the thing, you can't win with stans like @CrimsonTider @WickedGames @Always-Right Liggins because as soon as whatever new rebuttal theyre using gets tossed to the bushes they move on to something else.

Literally nothing can happen to make them stop making excuses and spinning. They just move onto the next stage of stan denial and defense.

The only thing that will stop them is when drakes popularity fades away and they start stanning the next pop artist.

Majid Jordan are some goofy looking nerds.....I fukk with their music though, all their projects since that 2013 EP has been dope as fukk to me. The evidence regarding Drake and OVO has been long documented on here, interesting to see inner circle artists 'breaking rank' in a sense.....
chill nikka.. majid jordan is dope af and they sound like good guys

So are these guys just aloof to how this looks?
or does the OVO camp not care that people talk about how Drake makes his music?

They are talking about it so nonchalantly that it seems they dont realize how this is frown upon in hip hop.

The more its discussed, the more normal it becomes.

same. it doesn't bother me a bit.

the people who are bothered most likely dont get p*ssy much less have a life.
I hate when people act like this is some type of an accomplishment :mjlol:

and what does p*ssy have to do with someone disliking an artist's creative process. dudes just be saying shyt

@Always-Right Liggins

it's over

trust me I was doing the same thing six months ago, searching for every angle to defend Drake but it's over. Time to accept reality. He's one of my favorite artists but it's time for us to acknowledge that he isn't a genuine figure in hip hop. He's a pop artist in the same vain as rihanna and justin bieber, nothing wrong with that but he isn't an MC or rapper. We can still enjoy his music but we have to recognize what he is.. trying to spin this about the industry and how artists from the 90's will start getting exposed makes you look a tad desperate.

Drake is a pop star and brilliant business man.(he is jewish)

Comeback Season and Room for improvement was him(and his best Phonte rendition and Nick F)

So far Gone was him(heavily influenced by Yeezy and Nick F)

TML him and it wasn't that good
Take Kare The weeknd

NWTS PND and MJ

IYRTITL Quentin

WATTBA He was on future wave

He will make a great A&R
All of this is proven. I finally understand. He's the only guy to not have a deal and have a major label artist feature on his song and have a video on 106. He has ties to Dre and Interscope before SFG. 40 kept denying the reference tracks existed only for them to get released.
yeah i got lots of respect for him in that regard.. dude is a genius businessman

he's built a great team (40, Oliver, Boi1da) and they know how to find talented artists and co-opt sounds. Just look at the artists played on OVO sound radio, you got artists from toronto, houston, chicago, atlanta, the carribean, london, montreal, nigeria, etc being played. They're great scouts for talent

And also look at the tremendous success of the Weeknd, and Party just wrote a number one record for Rihanna, Majid is dropping an album that is already getting critical acclaim and Ramriddlz, someone who seemed like a meme when Drake took his song, is getting signed to columbia. He knows where to find them and he knows how to use them

i have never gotten the drake love from jump street. he's never said or rapped anythin' remotely worth the hype he gets and his singin' is awful. i mean, i get how he sells. the whole mixed canadian jewish boy from canada angle. i get it. he was like a unicorn in hip hop. but what i wanna know is why some people in the industry were capin' so hard for him? i'm guessin' because it made them look good and there was money in involved and a feature as well just in case they need it if their career needs that boost?

but this whole shyt with other people writin' the vast majority and or all of his songs? well it's no surprise. i ain't surprise in the least bit. it's just more funny to me that it's taken people this long to really catch on and actually be more surprise by it.

i'll never forget when he was just makin' his round in the states and poppin' up at shows in houston and nikkas was ridin' for him like was the second comin' of rakim or some shyt. i kept hearin' his features (even though i knew of him from degrassi) i still was like, "what is it they hear that i don't because this shyt is weak and corny" lmao)

i don't usually say this about artists, but he has to be the most overrated artist ever embraced by hip hop. i can't think of any other nikka more overrated than him. he really has been this built up image that a lot of people just ate up and got bamboozled by.

corniest "rapper" or whatever label you wanna give him, of all time. hands down

black love, unity, and music
nikkas think these rappers just lock theirselves in the studio with the producer and engineer and write records??? :mjlol: yeah maybe when they're TRYING to get on but nah. There's LOTS of people putting in on these records.
Most real mc's do exactly this.
