One thing I do agree with is when he talks about shortened training camp. Players are using the preseason and the first 10 games of the season to get in shape. That's why you see so much sloppy basketball in the beginning of the season and wonder like

what have these dudes been doing all summer
Also the playing all 82 games comment. You need to build up that stamina so you can risk injuries
IMO I feel that's why alot of people get injured alot in February/March. They usually have low minutes per game during the season, then all of a sudden start to ramp it up in preparation for the playoffs and their body can't handle it
