I agree. With the exception of this year's match, none of Undertaker's WrestleMania matches after 2015 have been worth it. Not only because they were low quality, but because there was no intrigue. Undertaker competing with no more streak makes him useless at this point. Especially since they were close to retiring his character three years ago and they still brought him back.

He should have told Vince it wasn't going down like that and asked to go over. But I don't think he cared enough to keep the streak alive.

Nope, it was dumb af to break the streak. As much as may have elevated Brock, it turned people off the product too, obviously Pro Wrestling ain't a sport but the streak was a huge deal as if it was a sports streak.

Brock beating the streak, then destroying Cena a few months later made him feel special again. He eventually lost that aura again, but for a couple years he felt invincible, so giving him the streak wasn't a bad choice imo.

That match was pretty disappointing for the match that would break the streak though. Taker and Brock would have better matches the next year.

They lulled a lot of fans myself included into thinking it was gonna be another paint by numbers finisher spam fest until Taker finally pins Lesnar in a one on one match. Since they were lukewarm at best in booking Brock at that point


I didn’t even see the actual 3 count live.

I vividly remember looking down on my phone posting something in TSC when Brock hit that f5 since of course Taker was gonna kick out.


I was like that sounded like a three count.
