Women are definitely heavy nursing. Nearly every hospital I’ve been to in Cali.

Electrical Engineering for men definitely and growing for women. I have some Filipino classmates in my EE program and a Filipino girl earned her EE degree last year when she was only 19. I just remembered one of my cousins is half and his mother is an EE too (I think she’s from here though).

As Indian, how you feel about all this?

I think the racism was always brewing but just now exploded.
However anytime there is any very large change in a society’s cultural makeup people will turn right-wing.
If you went to Walmart in 2022 and it looks completely different in 2024 people will turn right wing.
This is happening all over Europe as well, in Canada & U.S right now it’s Indians, in other places it’s arabs, some places it’s latinos.

There is too much immigration happening & Indians love to travel & experience different places.

The racism is very wrong & annoying but also the Indian govt needs to invest so they stop losing so many people.

I personally love Indian culture, and I don’t want to see it diluted so it’s important for indians to understand that white people are a necessary business partner but nothing more.

To be fair... a lot of the Jeets aren't qualified either. Their diploma mills are infamous in the software and computer engineering field. My father tells wild stories about the ones he's had to fire for being incompetent.

Honestly, as someone who works in the field both as a software engineer and soon to be electrical engineer, I haven’t ran into bad ones yet.

Just my experience but I have yet to hear of a major incident regarding offshore workers bringing down an entire system in the industries I’ve worked in. Not doubting that it happens, only being honest and neutral.

Especially with A.I, it’ll be less likely for them to make mistakes.

I'm seeing black people party over this drama but its really no upside for us here
Indians (and east asians) don't fukk with us, so them getting a "wake up" call doesn't mean we're about to get assistance fighting white supremacy
In fact they basically were the face of the anti-DEI movement. The highly educated multiple degree'd black excellence crowd is under full attack. I'm seeing less and less brunch photo shoots and barely any Tulum vacations now days. I think a lot of black people who enjoyed the last couple of years know shyt is about to get tough for us. Asian managers will prioritize their own, white elite will manipulate whoever to achieve their goals, and rank and file cacs will resent all of us because of it.
This ain't even getting into the fact a lot of non FBA dominate what little black representation we have in tech/medicine/corporate business/elite schools. One can only hope some real unity comes from the next 4 yrs but I kind of doubt it




The indian explosion has been crazy to witness. I remember in the 80s and half of the 90s I literally only saw Indians in 7/11s and taxi cabs.
I use to have to go to Woodbridge NJ to do disaster recovery exercises and driving through those random NJ towns full of corporate office parks and apartment complexes was crazy how all of it was full of Indians. Indian getting a H1B visa, bringing their whole family moving into a apt complex in central Jersey somewhere just to work 12 hours a day at a drab office park up the street. Rinse and repeat every day while their kids study all day to repeat the cycle

Black folk better start unifying out here.. all of them. The collective mind of black people needs to start making adjustments… I’m including me and mines in this.

If black immigrants still wanna act like they're better because of being an immigrant over here and xyz, I hope you are seeing the writing on the wall with these Indians and what they are about to go through… and yall are A LOT darker than them…
