I work in Tech and work with a lot of them.
They are not genetically smarter than any other ethnic group. Like someone else said, getting good grades to get into a good school to get a good job to make good money has been ingrained in a lot of their families from the start. I’ve seen Indian parents brings their kids as soon as they can to after-school tutoring. Constantly studying etc
It’s why they can’t even compete in sports despite having such a large population. Education > Everything else.
The ones from overseas are disgusting. Their hygiene is awful and it’s telling. Not even trying to be on no racist, stereotypical shyt but they destroy the public bathrooms at work on a DAILY basis. Constant piss and pubic hair on the floor. I would hate to clean up after them.
I would say though, is many of the ones I’ve come across are humble.. especially the contractors.
That's Indian and East Asian culture, fam. China, South Korea, and Japan have legitimate cumulative education exams that they take at the end of their high school tenure. If they fail it, it guarantees that their life will be SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult than if they passed swimmingly.
THAT is why they tend to do so well when they come over here. Rote memorization, pattern connection, immense study habits, AND communal cheating are why they're so prominent in elite universities, upper-tier management positions, etc. The American education system has fúcked the country beyond repair.
THAT is a LARGE reason why they're able to stunt on Americans so hard. Truth be told, American culture is dog shít.
We promote individualism, which leads to people neglecting the community, hence the filthy ass cities, loud, rude ass people, degradation of american society and morals, and people voting for themselves even if the entire country suffers for it.
There are too many small picture thinkers in this country. "I don't like it, so it needs to change" ass people, even if keeping the status quo benefits everyone else. Every country has these, but America seems to have multiple tens of millions of them.
Asian cultures prefer doing the opposite, which leads to social harmony, but means that their culture isn't really one for innovation.
