Also interesting attempt at diverting this thread by asking where the men were....you are less likely to see a man work a polling station. Having to explain why seems silly and much has been said already. You are also less likely to see younger women. It's mostly older women who are retired or are close to retiring and took off work to do this. Yes it is that serious for some folks and they do it every year. It's pretty chill work 90% of the time. The last thing these dedicated souls need is abuse. He needs some jail time.
As far as security there might have been an officer out in the parking lot. Maybe. They tend not to hang around the voting area but patrol the lot and surrounding area to keep electioneering out of control.

Not that far from where I grew up in Charleston, SC. Some ignorant backwoods cac. Shoulda shot his ass, but men should have been there or at least a Sheriff or something. SMH.
