So should I buy this or nah
Console or PC? I don't have a PC but on my Playstation game runs fine and doesn't have any problems that every other game doesn't have. It's impossible for a game to not have bugs.
What it comes down to is what game you're looking to get from Mafia III.
I see people looking at Mafia III as another GTA clone that's supposed to fulfill their GTA checklist quota and I just have to wonder how slow people are to a video game series that's been around for FIFTEEN years and don't know what to expect from them.
The Mafia series has NEVER been about open-world extravaganza, or doing anything revolutionary in terms of gameplay. None of the games haven been about GTA-style open-worldness.
None of the trailers or gameplay reels indicated something that was not there.
No one at Hangar promised anything that was not in the final game.
I came in expecting a top-notch linear single-player narrative and an exciting combat as portrayed in the trailers and gameplay videos. Not much else. I knew the Mafia games were always linear action stories set against a open world background. And thus with this preconception sofar I wholely enjoy the game.
