quick impressions of the patch:

butter smooth 60fps, but...

I had to drop it back down to 1080p (from 2715x1527 (2x 1080p DSR)) to get 60fps, and hot-damn this game is blurry at native resolution. shyt is pretty heavy on the cpu and gpu

I'm too lazy to search. I just wanna know what's good with that Klan rally. Is it just a cutscene or is it playable?

also AA on low looks less blurry

the game looks nice at times. it has some cool lighting effects. but the textures are low res, and the blurry AA sucks :scusthov:

can u change his clothes?
You get a suit but just for one mission...:smh:
Mafia 2 let you change clothes but apparently 3 can't handle that...:stopitslime:

That and the way Lincoln shouts in the streets to have a vehicle delivered to him is so fukking stupid and breaks immersion...Like these fools wanted to make a mobile phone and realized later on mobile phones didn't exit in 1968...Why not require us to use a pay phone for that...There are phones all over the city both on the streets and interiors but we can't use them...Lazy ass developers...:francis:

He's suppose to be speaking to a walkie talkie but they didn't bother adding an animation in

yeah the AA is horrible, I also hate the chromatic aberration, wish you could turn that shyt off.

playing at 60 fps makes the game a lot better tho.

the belly of the empire
What kind of TV y'all who keep saying "it's blurry " playing on????

I don't know what the standard is but my shyt crisp as hell really don't see a difference between this and The Last of Us but I'm not a gaming graphic guru either.

The only problem with this game is I haven't heard one real New Orleans accent yet lol

Speaking of accents...

For my Haitian family...

Another thing amazing about the presentation and storytelling are the little details and historical research the devs put behind them.

Like them mentioning Papa Doc Duvalier and the whole Haitian immigration process when the documentary was going over the Haitians. They gave a backdrop why the Haitian "gang" was formed there.

when Cassandra was going off on Baka's dead body and screaming "guete kocohn!" I was like:gladbron: :russ::mjlol: The devs studied up on their Creole curse words.

when one one of the guards started singing Dodo Titit, a lullaby only Haitians would know I was genuinely impressed:ehh: They probably got that idea from one of their Haitian VAs.

But am I the only one who noticed Cassandra having 2 different accents? :patrice:

The first time we see her she has a clear FOB accent. (albeit not the most flawless Haitian accent. But not the worst I've ever heard...)

Then when we get to her place she sounds like a straight up born and raised Southern Belle . :dwillhuh: Is this intentional? That's some hardcore code-switching. Is it even the same VA? I'm trying to figure this out.

time passes and the first time we see her she's playing a part... lying about who she was

second time she's embraced her role as the boss and is playing that role
