Peggy and Stan's phone conversation was perfect, Peggy being awkward as fukk with feelings and then analytically bumbling and stumbling to the conclusion ... but they didn't need the triumphant hug and kiss scene, a bit too syrupy ...

The Don and Betty phonecall had me :mjcry:

Good to see everyone make the turn forward, but Sally got the raw deal ...literally forced into turning into middle age Betty :francis:

so does this show surpass Breaking Bad?

To say that Breaking Bad was never on Mad Men's level (which is what I want to say) is shytting on breaking bad a bit more than I should. But I honestly don't think it was ever better. If it was a game of basketball, Mad Men always had a lead.

this finale went way up on rewatch for me taking the whole season into account, that Leonard and Don/Peggy scenes especially hit harder the 2nd time around
