Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Not a second is wasted on this show, you just know that the ending means something further down the line :wow:
i think it was burt (in death) showing don how far he came... it was just 15 minutes ago that he was saying don was selfish and not good for the company

then don was gonna say fukk it, and let things go after burt died.. when roger gave him the speech about everyone being fired, he got on board

they got everyone together, even old dude voted for them... became that team burt was talking about... roger became that leader burt was talking about.. and don did something unselfish for the good of the company... got joan her money.. brought ted home.. he sacrificed for peggy to keep the account and she got it

he finally grew into the man burt wanted him to be... and now he's just doing copy like he wanted to... his favorite thing to do...

best things in life man :wow:

He nuked the account just when the company was about to go public and she and the others were poised to make lots of money. So, she sacrificed herself for nothing because Don didn't give a fukk about anyone but himself. He also really fukked up the Hershey account. I think she has good reason to resent and not trust him.

This seems to be how she feels, but it's bullshyt. She sacrificed herself for a stake in the company. Getting rid of Jaguar didn't take that away.

Jaguar was just another account, but she held it on the pedestal cuz it was the only tangible thing to justify her place in partner's meetings. Everybody else moved on from that, cuz however selfish or rather, inconsiderate, Don is, he still made put the company in a better position. Jaguar was bad for business, that divorce was coming, everyone could see that.

Joan needs to accept the fact that she made it to the top on her back and get the fukk over it.

Somebody explain to why everyone hates Harry :dead:

Cause he comes out of his mouth at everybody on some snide shyt all the time. Roger has personally hated him since he went from begging Roger for raises to trying to get Roger's office.

Also like a dumbass he waited to sign and be a partner and now that the company is being sold he won't get shyt.

Man, Harry is the EMBODIEMENT of white privelage. Dude should hav been fired in season 2 but just slipped through by pulling some shyt out his ass that actually turned out to be something without him knowing it. Everyone sees it that's been with the company for a significant time. Which makes Cutler look stupid for fighting so hard for this guy.

Also, pour some out for the young nikka Julio... :to:

Nah, this was the big account that was gonna make it possible for the firm to go public, making the partners millions instantly.

Joan wasn't the only one pissed

She wasn't the only one who was pissed, she's the only one who is STILL pissed.

Aside from Roger, Pete is Don's biggest supporter at that firm.

Jaguar was no doubt a huge account, but Chevy was bigger. Pete got over it, cuz it made cents (and I know he didn't dump Jaguar for Chevy, but results are results :manny:), Joan never got over it cause that was her contribution.

Also, Harry was just a pawn in Cutler's game to oust the O.G. SCDP partners one by one. Cutler gassed him up and put resources behind him just to get another partner vote under his power and also undercut the creative team.

I got a little choked up at yungsta Julio gettin' moved out. Julio ended up being Peggy's best friend and surrogate son and she ain't eeen know it. :sadbron:
