That's why you need to stop listening to those retarded ass podcasts where a bunch of amateurs talk shyt they don't have a clue about. Cruise suffered a minor downfall nearly ten years ago due to the negativity surrounding his scientology lifestyle, but anyone with a lick of sense can tell he's been rebuilding his brand slowly ever since roughly MI:4, although he didn't always pick the best movies.

And I've explained twice in this thread already why you need to stop worrying about this movie's box office. There's nothing crazy about how this movie's performing, the only thing crazy is how people all over the web are acting as if their lives depend on this movie's box office.

oblivion and Jack Reacher didn't exactly set the box office ablaze. At least here. so maybe that's where the narrative started

Jack Reacher tripled its budget worldwide. Much of that credit has gone/goes to Cruise. Oblivion was just a poor movie and as Bradley Cooper pointed out a week ago with Aloha, nowadays with the heavy competition at the box office not even a star can save a poor movie.

one of the concepts of the series is that Max has always been a wanderer going place to place throughout the wasteland getting involved with other people's stories and adventures, adding to his legend..if they bring her back, it would kind of spoil that

Maybe, but oblivion was an April release iirc before it became a fashionable thing to do.

And jack reacher was like January.

No ome really wanted to see them it wasn't a competition thing

I think MI sells itself it would probably still do big numbers if they replaced him with another actor like James Bond does
