Having listening to this. It's commendable for him responding on some emcee battle shyt. However, Ememin's entire verse from its multiple deliveries, clever punches and metaphors, and just the energy he putted out there on that track...MGK could not match with that. It's even a bit bad when even HE in a way admit that he's not on Eminem's level lyrically, but turn that as if that's bad for Eminem for having a broader vocab. MGK do get points for speaking out facts, but those facts weren't on any Pusha T's Adidon shock level, such as it's not even a secret that Em banned him from Shady 45 or try to block him off Interscope. It's not even that critical of how Em wash verse as being awashed due to his previous albums. So that didn't really budged me any for stating the obvious. Plus, that weak auto-tune really turned me off. Other than that, props for MGK for responding and kept it hip hop. I'll bet even Em for the love for the art would respect that.

Like real talk,...mgk is a lesson in don't sellout. If he never souled't out

Potentially he could have been the next Eminem with no problem and it would not have looked as far fetched a statement as it does now to casuals.
Eminem was way nicer originally bar to bar and in intangibles. Including song making, but mgk basically in the beginning was the white equivalent potentially to what twista is. Puff recognized this because puff wanted and pursued twista and most chooped and screwed affinity with double time.

Yep.

I was saying the same thing when I first saw him, if anybody had the chance to be even a fraction of a threat to head the so called cac takeover of rap that people been dreading it was him, seem like getting with Puff kinda nullified what he was doing.
