This might sound crazy but I actually don't find Doom less cool at all. Doom's popularity with the high brow crowd earned him a rep as some kind of dork ass CAC cult figure when in reality he honed his chops among the absolute royalty of Golden Era rap nikkas and did his fukkin thing as an alcoholic outcast tragic nikka with bonafide street connections and hood religion influences.

pedestrian take. you see comics you see nerdy but people who grew up before the internet era know everyone read comics in prior eras. not just nerds. Wu was into comics too btw which incorporated into their music also...
