Dame going to wake up next to his white woman and Stephanie Santiago with his phone buzzing, jump up, put his robe and a fresh pair of Uptowns on, call his barber youtuber and cut a 40 minute promo on Lyor.

one of Lyors greatest dikkhead moments was flipping that goofy ass Lupe fan protest outside of Atlantic right on them.
he came out with a boombox over his head playing some garbage Lupe song and had them going crazy and dancing in the streets.
THATS DAME GIRL?

At all costs:childplease:

He hasn't been accused of jerking artists? Don't deify him. He's not above reproach.

Nobody on Rocafella had a bad deal. Beans had two Bentleys and him and State Prop just messed up their opportunities.

I still don't understand the hate he gets :yeshrug:

Everytime I ask somebody why he's "the devil" they either hit the juelz or say something every exec does

He's the king of "divide & conquer" with Black artists. At Def Jam (which he & his backers basically took from Russell) he created the tension between Ruff Ryders,Rocafella & Murder Inc and split up Rocafella.

His whole thing is never let an artist or label exec under him become a threat to the power structure. Complacent artists love him but those who know their worth peep his tactics and despise him.

Didn’t Dame jerk Curren$y out some money?

Nah go check the lawsuit. Basically Dame funded Currensy & then Currensy went and signed a 360 with Atlantic and tried to stop Dame from dropping the stuff he funded.

This video just reinforces the point of blacks being uneducated. Lyor Cohen talks out of both sides of his mouth in this video, throws in some colloquialisms and slang, and people lap this shyt up. He consistently contradicts himself in the same damn breath. Looking at that comments section is embarrassing. Don't even need to be on some Coli militant shyt to see that.

That's the fukking devil.
im sorry...but yall are silly if you think black business people are any different.

Its all in the game.

Yall need to wake up to life.

Yall only riding for Dame because he's been down on his luck...
...but he showed you who he was during the Rocafella run.

artemusgordon #AGonIGSoapbox: I’ve never talked about Lyor Cohen because I’m feel I am guilty of giving him power.

You know what, Nah WE ALL GUILTY! “Guurrrlll AG Dunn Losted his mind!” “Yo AG Watch Yo mouf before I fly dat F’n Head! I ain’t Dunn Sh**! I ain’t even know who he is!” Calm down and hear Me out. Lyor Cohen got on through Russell Simmons.

Russell essentially took a page out of Berry Gordy‘s “book” by placing him in charge because he knows y’all Colored Folk FEAR the White Man and won’t run up on him when you feel you’ve been wronged. In all My times pushing a shopping cart up and down and around, I have yet to hear of one of y’all “tough, no nonsense” folk as you call yourself hand down beatings to these non Black execs that treat you as the help. Lyor has been giving artists, Black artists Bars FOR YEARS.

Why? It is because the more that these folks were scared to step to him and push up on him, the more his power grew. WEES made him the “Hoe Wrangler” and We da Hoes. So the rest of the industry took notice. “Wow Lyor does so well getting those ‘Ni**lets in line, let’s give him some more responsibilities!” Lyor is the King of divide and conquer and bait and switch and yet folks still line up to sign with him because “Bossman be gots the juice”. He keeps losing jobs only to get hired somewhere else to exhaust their budget.

It’s funny how when you feel a Black Man beat you out of two pennys, you want to go burn his house down with him and his family in it but when someone else like Lyor gets you it’s, “Danggummit I weren’t paying attention! I’ll get um next time!” Lemme ask you this, what has Lyor created that already wasn’t there? What act has he DISCOVERED that credits all their success to him? Like Dame said, why hasn’t he found any other acts except people he essentially thinks are “Dancing Monkeys”. This interview was very telling and should be a wake up but what do I know? I’m sleep tho.... {Shouts to @thebookmachinesp @lakeshiareed@justbeyou14 @vanity6ixx for the motivation to put My thoughts on wax. Take ‘em with a grain of salt}

:wow: damn

This guy is in character this whole interview.
Using his black-cent and all. He’s a rap Donald Sterling in every sense.

TBC are shallow and too busy trying to lick boots for a payday than to break down his BS. They didn’t push the culture vulture questions at all, and then he’s talking about stealing Afrobeat :dead:

Then he talked about Rich the Kid like Donald Sterling talked about the clippers players (“I give him money” etc) and they didn’t say a word. If it wasn’t obvious Charlamage is beholden to his white masters, it should be now
