black execs were late to the game. they got their business savvy or thievery from guess who? you learn the game from those already in it and successful in it. the only way you change it up is if you play the game long enough to amass a ton of weatlh, enough to feel like you can play it fairly and still win. most can't get to that point so they play the game at a similar way as those that taught them, the same guys that snaked them and others.

Lets really respect the radio hiphop mecca L.A. people have no idea how happy we were out west when we got KDAY. oooo weee. The hate on hiphop prior to Kday was on a zillion. I still remember very well known high profile dj's for other genres and other stations swearing "hiphop will never last." "what is that? thats not music."

and little did they know they are playing hiphop right now on those non hiphop stations.

This doesn't make sense, cause then anyone can say "Hey it's not might fault it was the people that came before me". Like we shouldn't shyt on white supremacists cause they didn't invent. it.

There are dirty and clean people in indie, major, imprint, publishing or just about any business from legal to illegal.
