Like Idris is so scared of being type casted everything he does around Luther is so weird. Why drop a TV movie the same day as Star Wars new opening. Peter Falk, Telly Savalas were all great actors but they knew they hit it big with Columbo and Kojak and rode that out and did other things as well. Its like Idris wants to kill the best thing he has going on a regular basis.

The BBC control these shows and since it's publically funded company (TV licence), they can't just churn out these high production value shows in the same way you lot get shows.

Dawg the last 5 minutes almost ruined the whole episode for me tho.
