It is boring and unlistenable to me. It is really unlistenable like to the point it is almost torturous to listen to. 0.5 mic album?. Yeezus was awful but at least it had Bound 2 which was a dope song, the redemptive features in this album are minimal. Some of the beats are dope.
Lol, it's funny how people say that, I listen to rappers much more intelligent and complex than Lupe. Infact it's cause I'm so intelligent that I actually can see it for what it is. The shyt is lacking in so many ways, as an MC, a songwriter, a lyricist, and just in general. I don't care if you like it, cool, but I honestly don't like it, what do you want me to do? Lie? I listened to it, but it is so dull to me, it made me feel miserable even listening to it cause it was so boring, was waiting for it to end.
Lol at listen to Mural and be in awe, be in awe for what? Cause it's a good beat, should break down in depth why it's dope, particularly lyrically cause would be interested, but firstly it also has to stand up as a song, but that lyrical style isn't dope to me, far better rappers that do complex or abstract styles. Lol at shouldn't be able to discuss Hip Hop, like I said would be interested to see break downs of all the lyrics on the album and why they are so amazing, because while there maybe some decent lyrics scattered on the album basically nothing impressed me as a whole. I was waiting for him to go in on the lyrics but that puzzle rap just doesn't do it for me, would rather do a crossword and I don't do crosswords.
Music and rapping has many elements, there's many I feel Lupe is lacking here, it never seems to fully come together, bits and pieces, on and offs. It's missing to me a lot of what makes great music.
Anyway, after listening to the album I feel very tired cause it was so tiresome, so I'll say more later. But ultimately it's just 1 person's opinion, if you like the album so be it, no-one's trying to tell you not to, enjoy it, it just isn't dope to me.
Of an artist I'm fans of and rate I would at least respect somebody who actually genuinely listened to the music, and I did so with an open mind and wanting it to be good. Would debate the merits of it then if they didn't like it, and would be interested to do that with this. Very interested, cause numerous people in here have said they don't know what he's saying but how dope and amazing it is lmao.... so I'm interested lol....

I don't know, I wouldn't say it's pointless, I would be interested in people breaking it down and debating it, could provide some interesting discussion. However if people don't want to do that cool. I am also cool to just leave it and keep it moving as my intention isn't to fukk up the party lol, just said my opinion, no beefs with anything, just an opinion. I'm cool to have said my piece and let the thread continue for the fans of the album if people just wanna use it to celebrate the album rather than discuss it. I Skimmed thru itunes and just bought it brehs. I hope i will be happy. Lupe gunnin for that spot back. And did he really structure the tracks where u can listen to the album in reverse? 2 separate playlists for the same album thats ill. Please be dope album
