I can't get over how good this album is. Lupe delivered. I think my favorite season is Winter. Every song during that part of the album was fantastic. It might be too early to call this a classic but Ii'm giving it 4.5/5 for now. That can easily go to a 5/5 if the replay value holds up. I have a feeling it will.

Is Lupe a better lyricist than Nas?

There is a thread about it. I don't see how it's even a reasonable question. Lupe has separated himself from everyone. No one is even close. You have to not understand a single thing in a Lupe verse and take it at face value to even entertain this question.

It definitely does. My brain goes to some dark places sometimes. The Winter section of the album reflects that. I can relate to a lot of the subject matter.

i haven't listened to a Lupe lp since his first 2 albums

and last time I listened to him all he would rhyme about is dumb shyt like skate boarding, anime, Japanese sneakers, space, stars, origami sculptures and other abstract nonsense.
