Atlantic really fukked up. There is money to be MADE off of this song. It's dope as hell and has the ability to appeal to a bigger audience than hiphop with the beat alone.
By the way, this album has single handedly made me fall in love with Nikki Jean
Has everybody here payed for the album? I got the digital but I mma get a physical copy in the morning. There's no way this is only doin 30k
who is this? ive seen multiple ppl talk about troi but i dont know where it comes fromI know perfection doesn't exist, but this album is as close to it as I've personally heard in hip hop. I acknowledge when Lupe slips up or when a song doesn't bring it. It just never happens here. He really made something special. So special that special feels like an understatement.
Dude took hip hop and black music in general to another level with this. I've listened to it 5 times now and every listen got better. Every listen produced new favorites and more moments when I break down a new line or connect something to something else.
There's so many songs on here that's 5-9 minutes long, and yet none of them feel too long. In fact some of them joints feel a little too short - second part of prisoner, adoration of the magi and TRON all come to mind. The songs feel more like an event or a musical adventure than just a song with a few 16s, a hook and a beat. The little subtle additions like the ad libs from Lu, Troi's talking in between the bars on Body of Work, Guy Sebastian's harmonizing at the end of Blur My Hands, the saxophone and violin outtro BoW, how the bass drops at the perfect time in the beginning of chopper, the acapella rapping on mural where the beats come back in at the perfect moment, how the sound effects of the prison door closing during the Prisoner interlude going perfectly with the beat and Lupe's grunts, the sing songy parts of madonna.....everything brehs .
Masterpiece. I know people not gonna co-sign cuz I'm a known fanboy but the thing is I'm not the only one saying this shyt. nikkas who ain't check for dude since The Cool saying it too. My cousin who used to be a Tyga stan said it's a pierce of art brehs.....she done came up on the taste game

Dooooooooooooooon't sign
The lyrics are so clever... I specifically think he's talking about 360 deals in this because of his history with Atlantic and because of the choice of words that he used throughout the song. The "go straight" in the hook, the whole sacred geometry theme and the second verse when he's droppin' the bars referencing degrees and circles.
It's a catchy ass song with a powerful message for a lot of up and coming artists that might go over the casual listener's head

The first verse can be interpreted as not being fooled by the promises and everything that comes with a major label since he's on the other side of the blinds and sees what artists don't and remembering to stay true to yourself.360 deals? I've listened to this just to see if you are right and the song doesn't allude to this at all. The "don't sign" threw you off. It's "don't sine" as in sine wave:
The song's just about Sacred Geometry from what I can tell
