Just ran into a dude who said mural and dots/lines are the only stand out tracks on the album.

How anyone can hear songs like Prisoner 1 & 2, body of work, deliver, madonna, etc and be like "meh....nothing special" is beyond me.

He then proceeded to say the album is way too political and black conscious for him and he much prefers Food & Liquor 2. Not like that album is the most politically charged and unapologetically pro-black in his discography or anything.....:pachaha:

Though I rarely agree with his rap reviews, that's probably TheNeedleDrops best review of a Lupe album even though he missed the concept it seems.

Still can't really take it as credible, when you compare this review with some of his other hiphop reviews .....T&Y 7/10......Ferg Trap lord 7/10:stopitslime:......still I enjoy his opinions

BTW IMO T&Y 10/10

how do fukks like that get to review hip hop... imagine a death metal site askin me, IR, to review some death metal :wtf:

He's actually well versed in hip hop. He's a big DOOM fan. I don't agree with most of his reviews but I still end up watching. The guy listens to a ton of music and gives his opinions. His views won't sway my opinion :manny:

Anyway Lupe did his thing on this album. Well worth the 9.99 retail price.

Brolic... Alcoholics
this album is hot :fire: which I wasn't expecting with his last few albums being kinda moist.

Dawg listening to this joint and ask I can think is that he's back on "The Cool" shyt. This is the best album I've listened to in the last 5 or 6 months.

Dots And Lines
Murals
No Scratches

:whew:
