I’m still ASTOUNDED that anyone thought Royce had a chance in the first place. Lupe Fiasco is one MC you simply DO NOT WANT to battle with.


And on top of that Royce was BEGGING for it and got his block knocked off lmao.

It's actually pretty logical that folks figured Royce would have a chance, if not win. Royce was more battle tested and it's more his style than Lupe. Lupe's super lyrical for sure, but nothing in previous work outside of just being lyrical made it easily apparent that he would be unfukkwittable on a battle tip. He got the better diss so far, undeniably, but it's still remains to be seen that he's on some unfukkwittable status.

And from all the Lives, ehh...I wouldn't say that Royce was begging for it really. shyt just escalated off of both of them not really reading each other's opinion's accordingly.

I called it a few days ago.

All of Royce's threats and violent lines are now "satire" and some kind of 4d chess move metaphors to diss other battle rappers instead of Lupe. The Royces cannot seem to decide on Lambda simply being a showcase of skills or some genius deconstruction of Lupe and battle rappers.

I've not seen or heard this tidbit from the podcast, tho if it's accurate, I'd say it potentially warrants more of a real ass whipping tbh. But I need more context to all this to even speak on that part.
