Regardless of the target, Nail In The Coffin is something like a Top 20 OAT dis track. The Sauce, Girls, Not Alike, Killshot, Marshall Mathers (2nd verse where he destroyed ICP) are all vicious. Let's not pretend he can't write a potent dis. That Warning shyt he hit Mariah with was damn near cruel. A motivated Eminem is extremely dangerous for ANYONE.

you're up here talking about what an MC did to mariah carey and ICP. You're joking right? So If Krs one would have released a scatching 5 minute diss track aimed at Whitney HOuston, would he get the same respect?

Doesn't make the songs any less potent. Nail In The Coffin still is what it is. He ended Benzino and by proxy The Source. These are facts. He killed a nikka cheating with his own magazine. My point stands.

Not Alike was surgical, you have to get the references. That verse is better written than MGK's existence. That was a body. MGK had the heart to reply and it was good by his standards, so people hyped it to hell. He was already dead.

Facts. MGK can't rap with Eminem but his song (as a song) was better than Eminem's diss record to him (Not 'Not Alike', the official one). "Not Alike" was so fire to me...Eminem was getting crazy on there with all the different flows...and he was barring him up.

I don't disagree with what you're saying.. I think there's a beauty in the simplicity of most diss tracks. No matter the rapper, they tend to slow it down, make it precise, and clearly hit their target. Even a lyrical miracle rapper usually slows it up on a diss and starts hitting you with blows.

Em on that rappity rap rap shyt on a diss wasn't hitting. It's not memorable. Nobody is reciting those bars. Nobody remembers them. They remember he rapped his ass off. You can remember multi layered deep references and shyt.. But what's actually remembered is MGK's bars cause he slowed it down, talked direct, and hit him with shyt that sticks in your brain

Pilled up Em did that and bodied everyone he went against.. Ever since he switched up to Super Rap, he lost that. That Em is gone.
