If you listened to the podcast or know anything about Royce that nikkas ego is enormous, and it was clear he thought of Lupe as his lil homie, which baffled Lupe but he kept it jokes. Royce had a lot of passive aggressive comments about Lupe's career and body of work and it stems from Royce thinking he's better but he's not
The song attacks every pillar that holds up Royce's ego and goes into concise detail about why emperor has no clothes. Breaking down his style then mockingly rapping it, mocking the intelligent militant conscious street nikka murderer shyt he tries to get off, Royce speaking as a hip hop authority and not realizing nikkas really don't take him seriously like that, being a perpetual sidekick, and so on. There's a lot of inside references
There's also the Sun Chips line, which made Lupe mad enough to say ok fukk it here's a song to make you feel like shyt. And clearly it was effective because Royce is essentially soft retired at this point and hasn't been the same since the song

It was the "shooting your son while you're holding Sun Chips" line that specifically pissed Lupe off. He said he turned the song off right there and didn't even listen to the rest
Royce clearly didn't respect Lupe's music and didn't understand why a line like that would make him so mad because nikkas are so used to casually rapping about killing nikkas. If you've heard enough of Lupe's music he clearly has a sensitivity about black violence and has actual songs about dead children.
