And nikkas do the same shyt wit Kendrick. I fukk wit Kendrick himself but nikkas dikkride dude to oblivion. and im talkin bout the media too. Comparing him and putting him over nikkas like Nas and Jay and Pac. Saying he got the greatest album run in hip hop history. Say him dissing nikkas on Control was to be competitive yet get mad at the nikkas who was willing to compete. Either that or make excuses for why him calling out names and callin out Big Sean on his own song wasnt a diss.

If they're putting him over dudes like Nas, Jay and Pac they're just dead wrong. But I do feel that if Kendrick continues to put out quality albums at the pace he's been doing it then he can easily be considered one of the Top 10 ever. Matter fact...I think an argument can already be made. We have to understand that that Top 10 conversation is gonna sooner or later start to have names that we're not used to seeing and Kendrick is probably the only artist from the past 10 years that an argument can be made that he should be in there. And the stuff with him dissing nikkas on RECORD...that's Hip Hop. I don't recall him getting mad at dudes responding. Maybe you can refresh my memory. Again...I think most of the hate that Kendrick gets on here is from Lupe stans mad as hell that he's not ever really in that conversation for Top 10 but Kendrick already is. That's not Kendrick's fault. Lupe just doesn't make raps are music that most people fukk with and he just doesn't have a strong enough catalog. I think it might have been 2011 or 2012. That shyt was damn near dedicated to Kendrick and Kendrick didnt even have an album out. It was the weirdest shyt I ever seen in my life. And I was a fan of dude and still am. And I actually even got to build wit Kendrick at the after party. Cool cat. I dont have a prob wit Kendrick. I see why he gets the accolades because everybody I know, and myself, digs his music. Alot. And most people I know don't pay attention to The Complexes and Rolling Stones and shyt like that. They just like his music. And if he got that industry push... At least he makes damn good music. There's been artists that had that push that were straight horrible and he's not the first artist that had a big push and he damn sure won't be the last. And like you said, he just comes off as a genuinely cool and humble dude so cats root for him.

And in regards to the Top 10 thing, how can you not believe that a Top 10 list can be ever changing? Sure there will be names that will always be there but come on, bro. There's gonna be other MCs that will come along and show over a period of time that they should be in the conversation. For years I always told dudes that Biggie was the greatest rapper of all time but after years went by I had to reconsider because I took into consideration of the actual years he made rap music as opposed to other greats. Now I believe Nas is the GOAT. The list is ever changing. There might be a dude that comes out 5 years from now that may change the game and make dope music for years and be considered a great of all time. The list can be amended. Not saying Kendrick should be in a definitive Top 10 list but I think he's at the point...or near the point...where he can be in the conversation.

I never said the list can never change. I said I dont feel HE belongs on it. See the difference? That nikka dont belong on the list imo. Only if nikkas force all his albums as classic which I feel he only has one that can even remotely be considered a classic.
