It's really the backstory that does it... This is both the songs. But if you watch the beginning, this is one of MANY Royce rants where he says he's the best, better than all them nikkas, he'll outrap them, calling Lupe a bytch, trying to big bro and little nikkas them nikkas....

So first song he goes rappity rap rap on Lupe

Lupe, who mostly freestyled this entire song off the dome and went back and laid it down, goes into this nikka's SOUL

Royce wouldn't say another word except crying. Tried to say he was gonna bring Em in.. Had all the hard words... Then faded off never saying another word.. Then came back crying.. And nobody heard no music since

TBH I prolly wouldn't have even entered the thread to begin with.

Saying someone is the greatest rapper alive thread is a whole different story.

I'm not hating.....this happens in every GOAT thread. Except usually there are much more qualified MCs being discussed.

You like his music? Great. But last I checked Hip-Hop is a competitive sport and there's boxes you gotta check to be in that convo.

Breh is clearly very talented and a good writer....I'll give him that.

I can see why he would strongly appeal to a certain demographic.

But I'm sorry....I skimmed through some his "mixtapes" based off this thread .... I know all the massive pop records ..... there is no chance this guy can be anywhere near the GOAT convo.

Some of my most listened to and favorite artists could never be in the GOAT convo for the different reasons. You gotta check boxes and have authenticity.
