It's a song for his nephew (Nas) and about the shyt he'll face growing up into manhood.
He claims it actually has nothing to do with Nas the rapper but there's too many lines that pay homage to Nas lyrics for that to be true. I think he just wrote the song for his nephew and since he's named Nas he did it in Nas style or was inspired by some Nas lines.

You should take the time to read and research.
Obviously the story made him feel some type of way. I never heard of that story prior to this album so I'm sure he wanted to bring awareness to it... Same with Jonylah Forever.
