Of course the ATL
Falcons defensive numbers are :scust:

This shyt is going to be a massacre. :hhh:

Hater in the house :umad:

I wish they were closer to #10 in most of those rankings......It's going to be on the offense to come out scorching...

Breh have you seen this defense the last 8 weeks? If you're looking at the total season numbers to tell the story of how good this defense is you aren't paying attention

Falcons with 13 takeaways in the last 6 games

That's all good, but I keep saying. This is the Super Bowl. It's not going to be easy.

The Pats have a chance, but their margin for error is so slim it's ridiculous. This place is the only spot where I feel like we think they Falcons should be the favorites. I've seen media pundits pumping their offensive game against the Steelers D, but ignoring that their defense literally did not guard Hogan. That's not a joke. They just let him run free for no reason. Their DB coach should've been fired at the half. The Falcons won't let that happen and the other thing the Pats have been doing on offense is getting Lewis/White into athletic mismatches against LB's, but ATL's entire defense is athletic enough that it won't be an issue.......also, they're a 4-3 which is definitely tougher to run on than a 3-4 yet "analysts" still feel comfy writing these types of articles - http://deadspin.com/the-falcons-defense-is-basically-fukked-1791967440 - which is probably the worst break down of a defense I've ever seen where he's using regular season stats to justify an argument against a defense that's played ridiculously better in the playoffs. Aaron was fukking unstoppable and y'all D shut him down. Brady choked up against Houston and Pittsburgh literally didn't cover a guy the entire game. If you're looking at it objectively the hill for the Pats to climb is significantly higher than the one ATL would need to win.

I see it this way. If Atlanta gets up 2 possessions that's game because Quinn isn't gonna let his foot off the gas like Pete did against the Pats. If the Pats get up 2 possessions ATL could still come back and win.

ATL - 31
Pats - 17

2 out of the 6 Superbowls Brady lost, were by only 3 and then 4 points. No way he's losing by 14 lol

I'm taking Atlanta.

Only chance Pats have and I think the gameplan will be obliterate Matt Ryan. That's the only answer for such a high powered offense. You have to kill the head.

Will they be able to double Julio and blitz at the same time. Pats don't have a single devastating passrusher so it must be scheme.

Problem then becomes the TWO homerun threat backs! Pats LBs not talented enough.

All this adds up to Falcons winning easy unless they completely nut up.

The falcons DO have game changing passrushers who can throw Tom off. So they have a chance to kill the head.

The only X factor I see for the pats is Blount....

Actually I see a alternative game plan the pats D might use. Run a D almost like a cover 2 which will bend and not break. Limiting the explosive plays by Atlanta. That may be the more viable option because they could then pound Blount and shorten the game.

Pats two options:

1. All out blitz to kill Matt, while doubling Julio.

2. Bend but don't break cover 2 style and grind the game with Blount and short passes.
