I'm the farthest thing from a corporate law expert, but think it would be hard to put it as collusion. Teams still have free will at the end of the day. Can label it as incompetence, short-sightedness. But I would imagine you would have prove that the Lakers & Mavs conspired behind the scenes to deflate Luka's value on the open market. If the Mavs took it upon themselves to negotiate with only the Lakers, I don't think there's a case there
