But it's on him he shouldn't of been just signing everything.......but peep my Mom was married to my pops maybe a year r less. She took out a life insurance policy on him and paid the premium for almost 40 years. He died August 2021 Covid/Cancer and mind u they had no relationship at all maybe talked 5 r 6 times throughout those years but she secured the bag...grimey as hell to me but this the world we live in..dog eat dog

The way dudes on this forum refuse to believe people's mothers can be bad or do wrong is mindboggling, especially with everyone being HOH GMB on here.
Doncic is guaranteed to make around $400-500M MINIMUM before he retires.
He will outlive his mother.
The only reason she has to hold onto the trademark is if she suspects Doncic would cut her off financially.
All he has to do is slice off and give her around a $30M piece and this shyt's over.
From what I've read Doncic wouldn't even be in the NBA today if not her signing off on him being allowed to move to another country at 13 years old to play basketball in Europe which then led to him getting selected by Dallas and the eventual max contract

Sadly we all don't learn that lesson until we live it. Have a family member mad at me because I smartly invested my money Instead of wasting it on clothes, traveling and eating out. Cause of the tension I felt I bought em out a decade ago and the money has come in tenfold after that and now they real salty, talking shyt when they get drunk at family events.

I'm really struggling to see the case you're making here. There's no justification for Luka not to own his name.
Because if that was the case she would have no reason to keep his name and would relinquish the trademark
$10-30M is a lot of bread and while chump change for Luka life altering for a non-athlete/regular person.
You think she would be keeping that trademark this if Luka was doing stuff like this.
