Jeff Skin Wade is the Jon Gruden of Dallas sportswriters. Never seen a player he wouldn't trade a 1st for. At the same time knows fukk all about talent and personnel. fukk that guy.
Didn't even really care for Danny Green anyways. He's a complimentary piece on a contender. He's not going to help us get to the next level. He's not a core component.
He would have been a very flippable asset, though, and that's what I wanted out of him.
I don't understand why this front office doesn't understand THAT. Every year we see Kyle Korver and Trevor Ariza and JJ Reddikk get passed around. Teams are obsessed with 3 point shooting. And every year after 20 games or so, there's about 15 teams that legit think they are ONE 3pt shooter away from contending.
Donnie and Mark make no effort to pursue guys for the flip.
The Suns decision to sign Ariza last off-season was genius. He netted them Oubre in a flip, so basically they got a young lottery pick who averaged over 15 a game last year for free. Oh, and he's long, can drive, and shoot 3s.

@dtownreppin214 @*DalMem* Have y'all ever noticed that both the local Dallas sports media & the national NBA media always completely talk around the fact that maybe the reason the Mavs struggle bringing in top free agents is because star players don't really care to play with a white euro star players?
I haven't seen anybody in the media bring it up but I've seen lots of fans bring it up on twitter the past 2 weeks. KP seems to have some friends around the league and Luka is a young guy who will mesh well with current NBA players. Dirk not having an agent and not really being out there on the scene was a big reason we couldn't attract FA's. Like you could never imagine Dirk sitting front row at Summer League chopping it up with his peers like you see during these Las Vegas games. Also, a lot of players become friends through their agencies - RocNation, Klutch Sports, etc. It would probably help to get a player or two from those agencies.
We might have got one in Josh Reaves. He's been one of the biggest surprises of SL.
Him and Cleveland have both been gunning this SL.
Roby has flashed a few times. Really good passer. Understands lanes and angles very well.
Kostas just looks flat out there. Completely underwhelming.
I was thought they took a flyer on Kostas to lure his brother in a few years (I'm trying not get triggered writing this).
That's exactly what they did. Legal tampering.
He was an undrafted G-League player on every board.
Doesn't look like he picked up anything in the past year. Total beta out there.
