What does that mean

If he signs it this year he is an unrestricted free agent next year...

Signing it signals that he won't just stay in dallas because they can pay him the most money...they going to have to put a good team around him like...this summer...

Plus it's not like KD aint never made the decision to play ball in TX. If the Mavs plan on going after anyone in FA it needs to be Durant. He gets to be a part of a low key superteam and if he wins a ship in Dallas he'll be vindicated.

2K Lineup would be lit though

PG-Luka
SG-(dont even matter)
SF-Durant
PF-Dirk
C-Porzingis

:banderas:
I don't care how old Dirk is, but in 2K, his jumper is wet as hell.

Imma miss KP, I don't care what anybody says, he's a potential superstar. He's also one of the most complete big men out there. He's a guy who can protect the rim and switch on to smaller guards and still man them up. He's the only guy who can do that and still hit a three at an elite rate. He's okay when rolling towards the rim, and could finish better, but that's gonna come as he gets stronger. He's never played with an elite passer, so after he knocks off the rust he's gonna be amazing for you guys. Couple of things though:

1.He sucks at rebounding, his best rebounding year he had Robin Lopez who is great at boxing out, allowing teammates to grab uncontested rebounds ( Brook Lopez is the same way). Whether he's at the 4 or 5 you're gonna need an elite rebounder next to him.

2. He has anemia. His first three seasons he was amazing the first three months of the season, but because of his anemia he gassed out at nearly the same point, and his game fell the fukk off afterwards. He can be your number 1 scorer in spurts, but you can't lean on him the whole season then expect him to be elite on defense too. You guys are gonna need others to step up at points, for KP's sake.

Other than that, he's a guy who can fit any role, he can get 20 with barely any plays drawn up for him. Luka and KP have the potential to be scary together.

I defend Luka on the board and that was moreso the acquisition of KP than it has to do with Luka. This roster is ass we have no draft picks. I doubt if KP reups, he'll probably join the Warriors. We definitely ain't making the playoffs anytime soon. We need to lose 27 out of the next 31 games to end the season to even have a chance at having a draft pick this year. The way our roster is constructed, you might as well forget about somebody joining us over the summer. We might could make a play for Gordon Hayward though.

1-8 in the west are legit better than us. Lebron is about to get LA in the top 8. The Kings has put together a ROSTER.

Glad the young buck DSJ free tho :salute:

We're about to revert back to the 90s smh.

Last year we were a 33 win team that could have been a playoff team if we weren't literally throwing games. This year we added Luka and DJ, which should have been enough to get us over the hump but yet the team is marginally better, if that. Now we wait and see if this new, what 2-3 year plan works? Front office is trippin'

The media is already reporting that KP will resign with the Mavs.

I was talking about him signing the qualifying offer, but I just watched this clip of Chris Broussard on Colin Cowherd's & he expects KP to re-sign with the Mavs long term (The first 45 seconds of the video):

Chris Broussard joins Colin Cowherd on the show today to break down NBA news. Hear what Broussard thinks about the Kristaps Porzingis trade and what it means for the rest of the NBA, including Kevin Durant potentially going to the New York Knicks.

and to think we used to complain about the 90's cowboys/mavericks drug/off the field problems. only if we knew that would be the last era of black excellence in the City as far as professional sports go :snoop:

So you're on this stupid shyt as well. :why:

There was nothing Black Excellence about the 90's Cowboys.

You had nikkas backing Troy Aikman after he was accused of being :mjpls:.

Are you forgetting who owned the Cowboys in the 90's.

yeah but our all-pro black athletes produced on the field. we aint seen nothing close to it since regardless of that slavemaster owner there still has not been an era like the deion cowboy jersey with the blue and white deions to match in the city. all pro hall of fame black athletes playing in the super bowl year after year all while dodgin the devils in the racist dallas media and police departments. 90's church in dallas you liable to see cowboys stars praising the lord with heartfelt testimonies right in the heart of south dallas. autographing the pictures you'd see hung on the walls of the most notorious food spots in dallas hoods for lifetimes. super bowl champions that would father future carter cowboys and other DISD and DFW high school products..
