Ludacris' music has aged terribly and it's high time we acknowledge it

Album went plat after 1 month breh :dead:, you think it really didn't go 2x plat.. after the case and the popularity of Paper Trail ... Atlantic couldn't pay RIAA certifications for TIP, they were busy trying to bail him out of jail/spend money on his defense team

T.I. was never moving units like that. It took Trap Muzik 4 years to go platinum. TI was always the smaller artists. It’s irrefutable
TI's peak was bigger than Luda's :dead: Luda was never as big as TI was from 06-09 :shaq2: , multi plat and all TI was selling records when the music industry was dying ... Luda was on his way out, Relapse Therapy was the last time he was viewed as a rap superstar

I'm getting it straight off the site, meanwhile you're just saying shyt to say shyt. You're the one who was bringing in album sales. If we go off the info we have off RIAA, Luda's sold more overall and has more multi plat albums.

Vibe magazine literally has said KING went multi-plat, and other sources have too... RIAA only post certifications if your label pays up, because KING has been eligible to be 2x plat for a long time now breh... TI was going gold off first week's, and you really trying to dispute the fact this album went 2x plat.. Luda has never gone gold in his first weeks.. TIP has done that twice, but yall act like it's crazy for me to say TI had the bigger peak lol

Here's Why 'King' Is T.I.'s Most Important Album

Luda has a triple platinum album because of the time he came out was perfect, 00-05 were the last big years of sales, music industry crashed for years after that. TI's pop records were done for a lighter sentence, he didn't do music like that before, or even after that album and you know that :dead: Luda is from Illinois, maybe that's why he could never claim being a king of place he really wasn't from :heh:

You’re telling me what I lived through. Your making excuses that didn’t seem to bother Wayne in 08, Luda in 00, 50 in 03, Usher In 04.

00-05 According to you was the last big years for sales yet still TI started his career with a flop and a second album that was gold for years before finally going Platinum

You’re taking unnecessary digs at Luda so I can tell you’re a fan of TI which is cool but truth is truth. I can care less about either.

If you were old enough to know the music industry has been crying about Internet piracy effecting sales since 01-02 when Limewire & similar platforms were already a problem

TI had his time in the light but Luda was the bigger artists at his peak. To debate that is sort of puzzling

The only unassisted high performing TI song is the exact same Poppy stuff you accused Luda of making

What You Know wasn't a top 5 single? Bring Em Out wasn't top 10? Big Things Poppin wasnt top 10? :mjlol: @ acting like TI had assist on all his high performing singles .. and we all know why Paper Trail sounded the way it did, why are you still bringing it up:dwillhuh: If he didn't make that album, he'd probably still be in jail. Yes there was Limewire in 01-02, but you act like artist weren't still going diamond in that era, and that magically just stopped by 05-06... What you going to argue that there was no more megastars like there was in the early 00's, nikka were selling more these are facts:mjgrin:. Wayne was the biggest rapper in 08, so thanks for bringing him up because Carter 3 is 3x plat just like those Luda albums in the early 00's, and Luda has never been as big as 08 Wayne :yeshrug: ... Luda never been as big as Ye, and his album sales pretty comparable.. bro just came out in the right, it's OK to admit that:ehh:

Never mentioned Paper Trail once

I’m referring to I’m Serious & Trap Muzik which clearly were dwarfed by Luda’s first 2 albums in the same era

Bring Em Out was a gold record
Big Things Poppin didn’t get a plaque

Once Again...let’s focus on his biggest charting singles

What You Know
Dead & Gone POP
Live Your Life POP
Whatever You Like POP

The argument is bogus because Luda has album’s that were certified platinum or double during the same 18 month window King was released. None of those albums have recent certifications as well. So if Luda was outselling him earlier in their careers by far and keeping pace with him till Paper Trail who..was...the bigger...artists?

Remember we aren’t counting the poppy stuff like you said

TI was dropping albums in that same time frame they just weren’t selling.
