The Stan Lane/Bobby Eaton Midnights line-up and the RNR Express are Top 5 of all time :what:

Agree with the Freebirds though. Everything about them sucked except for that theme:

Can't agree. I grew up on WCCW and NWA through my Godfather. I got into wrestling because of that, to each his own but you're wrong on this one.

man, Cornette was the man back in the day.
You CAN NOT even consider putting any of those WWF tag teams he managed in the late 90's in there. They were god awful rehashes of things he did in NWA and other companies.

NWA was a very southern friendly product for a while. If you lived in the South, YOU WATCHED NWA/WCW/WCCW. Not to say you didnt watch WWF, but you watch the others. As a kid, I had zero clue what the conferderate flag meant....and I was the biggest Dukes of Hazzard fan as well....but that's another topic.

On top of that, living in Dallas with the Sportatorium, damn near everyone who became anyone came thru there.....Sting, Warrior, Austin, Flair, it's an endless list.

Cornette was the Bobby Heenan of NWA for several years.
