I was actually a pretty big fan of dude as a kid during his WWF Livewire days; he had me cracking up on Saturday mornings. Whoever mentioned his mic skills was right; he had a lot of charisma. Had no idea he was a former wrestler at that time; I thought he was just some random backstage guy who they put on the show

Personally, when I was young, I had a local video store in town that had all kinds of old wrestling VHS's. On I think Wednesdays they had a lot of specials like rent one and get one free or whatever so I'd usually rent a wrestling VHS and then a movie like Transformers Animated Movie or a Disney movie, etc..

That's how I got up on old NWA and 80's WWF.

It's a crime that video stores are pretty much nonexistent because there's a lot of good shyt that ain't available on Netflix.

Pro wrestling wasn't always about the bodybuilder look.....I believe the Hogan era may have changed it to that

Before then, most pro wrestlers from what I've seen looked like someone's crazy, hairy, alcoholic uncle. nikkas like Jake The Snake, Vader and George Steele, who looked at first glance but were still stronger and more powerful than the average guy
