The U's recruiting tool (south florida) is no more. A big reason why they were shytting on everyone back in the 80s was because they had a strangle-hold on all of the talent in their state. Not to mention, UCF, FIU, USF and FAU weren't around yet.

They have a shot at being relavant again if Golden can recruit like Randy Shannon did but actually coach them as well.

Randy's recruting was highly overrated.. Outside of that 08 class which did absolutely nothing other than Sean Spence. None of his other classes were that great r even balanced... It's the reason this team is weak on the OLine Dline n Secondary.

I agree on the ucf/usf shyt...its ridiculous..miami is losing legit recruits to other big time schools...denard robinson going to michigan over florida, and not even considering miami...at all...is a prime example
