You think HBK is broke after headlining all those ppvs and selling all that dx merch? He is rumored to have made at 17 million during his last run. Prime Rey could never tell a story in the ring, he was a spot monkey, that is it. Eddie G is great, Savage is excellent but the way you rank HBK is crazy, the crowd was behind HBK in his matches against JBL and he even carried a beyond flabby and sick VKM to a match of the night at mania. If he didn't get the crowd going why did he draw so much heat in his feuds with the Harts? RKO yells at others also, so he gets a pass? He's an 11x winner of MOTY because they don't have the same luxuries we have at watching legit better matches. This thing with Brian Danielson? It's nothing new. It's been going on for years. He's been great for years..he was outworking the likes of Michaels for a long time. It's not a big deal..did he get a ton of credit for it? Nah..they just called it Indy matches of note where he could show his talent before coming to the big leagues but fundamentally, he was always very good and above the fray. Samoa Joe was always on some other shyt too..his matches are MUCH more believable than Michaels. Has been for years...Michaels is a idiot seller alot. The guy selling for that Lesnar arm break was so fukking stupid looking...he didn't even know what he was doing. Who acts like that when they get their arm broken? You don't notice things like that..the WO voters don't either but then again, they don't really have a trained eye on the same level as Meltzer.
There's no way Michaels was better in the ring year after year to a Mysterio, Benoit, Eddie, Muta, or anything like that. That's a bunch of bullshyt and always will be. He's a WWE performer who was given alot, held down alot of guys, jealous of other's successes, and was mediocre when it was time to raise the bar for the business. That's Hickenbottom in a nutshell. Everything else is revisionist..he wasn't really that over when he turned heel. Go check out Rumble 92...it was embarrassing. He was CHOSEN over by the fans for Razor and it's funny how that's a point of discussion when you speak of Punk/Rock/Cena..anyone but when it comes to Michaels? You want to derail and run from that fact. Just like at Survivor Series 96 when Michaels looked like he was about to cry when those boos got deeper and deeper as the match went on...he didn't know what to do. He wasn't "Attitude before Attitude" because he was shook and went into wimp mode instead of handling it like Bret did at Summerslam 92. There was no swagger, no "Kliq" signals, no winking to Sunny to clown some midcarder at the Slammys. Nah..just a shook ass goofball in the game who couldn't handle a real situation.
So no..I don't buy any awards given by any site about Hickenbottom having endless matches of the year. What that shows me is that they didn't give everyone else enough credit and want to hype up a guy that wasn't good enough to draw and inspire change in the business when it counted. He's overrated.

But, y'all my brehs in the end, and y'all let me get away with saying ignorant shyt too, so who am I to complain or call anyone out
Some brehs do take shyt too personally, and sometimes it WILL derail conversations. In them instances, nikkas just gotta call nikkas out, and that's what forums is for. Voicing what you feel, cuz you'd straight knife a nikka IRL if you had to engage them in these discussions.
