Love on LeBron: "We're not best friends or hanging out everyday", doesn't pick LBJ for MVP

If Wiggins was still on the Cavs they wouldn't be a legitimate contender right now, even if everything worked out (i.e. Varejao stayed healthy), much less a dynasty. By the time Wiggins really, truly came into his own LeBron would likely be on his decline... not to mention Wiggins wouldn't have the freedom to grow in Cleveland that he's had in Minnesota.
Nah, the games we've played without love prove that his presence is negligible.

Your team is better with him, you'll win more games with Lebron leading the charge. Because he draws so much attention and needs to be doubled at times.

But the idea that he makes players better is a myth. He's no Isiah/Nash/Magic etc. he's the first of his kind

He's a ball dominant score first, pass second (very well) player.

Lebron needs the ball in his hands to be effective, and in a different way than pass first ball dominant players like Magic.

If Lebron doesn't have the ball he isn't effective. And other peoples stats will suffer (except his own) but your team will be better.

Realistically. The Cavs should be playing through Love in the post primarily followed by Bron and then Kyrie.

I thought with this team a Lebron statline of 26/3/8 on 50% shooting would have been ideal.
With Kyrie taking the initiative to be a passfirst point guard and running the offense. Averaging something like 17/8/3

And Playing Love inside out. Since he's a knockdown free throw shooter. And can bang in the post and O.R with the best of them. Averaging 23/12/2 or something along those lines.

Instead they've minimized Loves role and gave Lebron the offense instead of developing Kyrie into a better instructor and point guard.

They're not winning a ship this year. No way. The way their running that offense is not going to carry them in the offs. Instead of trying to recreate the Heat blueprint (which is what Bron is trying to do) they should have done it the right way.

No way that someone as clutch and as sure fire from the FT as Love is, should be seeing NO PLAYING TIME in the 4th.

Lucky for the Cavs you aren't the coach.

You didn't answer my questions. How are guys not better, if they are winning? What does it matter anyway if the team overall is better? What guy has ever put up better numbers as a 3rd option than he did as a 1st option?

Has it ever occurred to you that maybe the Cavs would play through Love in the post if that was a better option than having Bron or Kyrie create? We aren't talking about prime Tim Duncan here.

So basically nothing is Love's fault or responsibility? fukkin Tristan Thompson is taking his 4th quarter minutes in large part because Love is a sieve on defense but it's just gotta be somebody else's fault? It's a scheme by the man to hold him down right? :heh: There is more to the game than offensive numbers.
Its crazy, Kyrie is balling his ass off yet dudes have the nerve to bring up this "Bron dont make his teammates better" nonsense.

If it were so hard with play with dude, Kyrie would be the main one struggling. Yet he's excelling next Bron. Fact is, like Bosh, Love is the worst offensive player of the 3.

Love can't play the 5 the way bosh used to. When Bron moves to the 4 spot which he often does, love can't be on the floor

Don't look like we were missing much of that with him out. We have plenty of spot up shooters and rebounders.

K love wasn't really missed:manny:

are you fukkin serious :mjlol:

the games they played without him it was clear as fukkin day how much they needed him.

No. There was no effort in the Miami game. Had nothing to do with k love missing the game. An extra 12 points and 10 rebounds wouldn't have won that game for us.

There was not a point in either of those games where it felt like h was needed on the floor. Not in the same way it feels if lebron/Kyrie are out.

Other game he missed we beat the clippers.

Just like in Minnesota, dude is only good for stat sheets. He doesn't really impact tge game.

Lebron hasn't played the 4 at all this year unless you count posting up against Golden State. They also have Thompson & Mozgov to play the 5. Love and Lebron don't need to play out of position for this to work.

James Jones has been playing stretch 4 when Love sits. Blatt also likes to use Thompson & Mozgov in defensive lineups.

What about that Chicago game before all star? In that Miami game they were able to have Haslem help on Kyrie's drives to funnel him into Whiteside for easy blocks. Lebron just took jumpers because he couldnt get into the lane. It was 100% evident that they needed his spacing. He has a huge impact on how our offense is run. If you can't see that this many games into the season you're retarded.

Nah.

You are oversatating his impact.

If he was such an impact player we would have had a better record before the trades. And the two lives would have had better records when he played there
