This relationship is toxic AF. Gus is that typical "nice guy" that every chick hates. He's too eager to please, and he wants to "fix" Mickey and make her fit his "nice guy" ideal for a girl. He's like a less interesting version of Calvin from Ruby Sparks, or any Reddit poster.

So on one hand I'm not mad at Mickey cause
she is doing what a typical young chick would do. She legit thought that by them not having a "title" it was ok to do whatever she wanted. She even says that she isn't fukking other dudes cause she didn't want to. In her retarded female logic she technically didn't break the rules or cheat. However Mickey is fukked up for fukking that fukk nikka after like two weeks of his being gone. Like damn he can't leave her alone for more than 2 weeks before she on to the next. At least that's the way it looks. I feel like all these twists and turn is just to keep the show interesting
