On the real though, there is some truth to this. I just chalk it up to being some subliminal type stuff. Peep this: Superheroes are above humans, right? How many ways can they show this outside of their costumes? The only way is physically really? Is the average human really walking around at 6'4 236 lbs with sub 5% body fat? No. But if you were some sort of demi god, then yeah, that makes sense. Ain't no coincidence that Clark runs around the daily planet "ripped as fuark" while everybody else running around there with muffin tops and beer bellies.
