two more recent ones i can think of:

pacquiao vs marquez IV - that punch was fukking vicious and NOT a lucky shot at all.

matthysse vs. garcia - I was telling everyone who would listen that this fight would outshine the main event, and that the argentinian was about to decapitate garcia. boy was i wrong.

As an adult, it's probably impossible for me to take a loss hard. For me to take a loss hard, it would have to be someone I grew up on, because watching them fight makes me feel like a kid again. These newer guys can't take me to that place.

Anyway, it would definitely have to be Tyson/Douglass. I was only 6, but watched boxing all the time & of course Tyson was my favorite because of the flashy knockouts. I didn't see the fight live, but heard the result. I was so disgusted I still haven't seen the fight. I refuse to watch it.

I hear you..for fighters I grew up on as a kid me I guess would be watching sweet pea's demise...what an undignified way for a career of one of the greatest fighters ive ever watched to end..old and coked out getting his collarbone broke by a journeyman:mjcry:

Ima add Tyson v. Lewis too...

Even though Tyson was nowhere near his prime, I bought into the dream that he could be half of what he once was for one night and become the champ again...:sadcam:

And Tyson was on some extra fukkery shyt during that time, he was going off in every interview and appearance.

As a kid, Tyson and Buster Douglas. That sh!t hurt. It was like Optimus Prime dying, or the end of Godzilla 1985, Duke dying in the old GI movie (animated). That sh!t hurt breh. Most recently, I didn't like the Canelo/Lara decision. I lost Coli Cash and what not. Posted some offensive sh!t which was wrong. That night had me heated. I really wanted Lara to win that fight the same way I really want Alexander to win against Khan. Those are slick Black boxers that I think have the potential of making Floyd's night more difficult than Maidana if he chooses to fight them. Same with Porter. His lack of adjusting against Brook's length was very disappointing. He just kept coming in like a bull running into a wall. That hurt a little bit.

Hagler losing to Leonard leaves me with a bad taste too, but I can see the judges decision too. It wasn't an outrageous decision.

At this point, the only fighters that I grew up as a fan of that still fight at a high level are Hopkins & Mayweather. Now, them possibly losing doesn't really bother me. It's more how they lose.

Hopkins is close to 50 years old & has his share of losses. If he were to lose to Kovalev, I wouldn't really trip. Now if he were to get knocked out, I would be like :snoop:

With Mayweather, a loss wouldn't bother me, unless it was to someone like Khan. There's just something about Khan doing an interview everyday with Mayweather's name in his mouth that rubs me the wrong way. He's never attempted to avenge his losses. He thought he could just get a Mayweather fight by playing it safe.

RJJ v Danny Green

I know Roy was well and truly shop worn by this time, but seeing him get stopped in the 1st round by bum ass, average-as-fukk Danny Green KILLED me. What hurt even worse was the Australian media gassing Green up for about a month afterward, calling him the 'Legend Killer' and shyt, like he didn't just land a lucky punch against a washed up, 40 something year old former champion who would have fukking MURDERED him in the ring in his prime.

The whole thing still legit pisses me off.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
The loss I took the hardest was Pacquiao/Bradley 1... I dont think I had ever been more certain a fighter was gonna win a decision than in this fight... When Buffer said "AND THE NEW!!!!" :whoo: I was in utter disbelief. Internet was going nuts, Twitter, FB, coli nikkas was talking shyt mentioning me trying to rub it in.. that decision is still shocking to this day

Pacquiao/Marquez 4 was another hard one.. Almost got into a fight the next day at work, had to be restrained, because I had already lost $100, but the nikka just wouldn't stop talking shyt the entire shift. Lost my cool..

RJJ/Tarver was bad too... was at a holiday inn in NJ... watching the fight, wasn't even paying mutch attention. Next thing I know my nikka Roy was laid the fukk out.. It just didn't seem like reality..

PWill/Sergio was very shocking... Was a good fight then out of nowhere it was over... Happened so quick.. My nikka P was stretched the fukk out with this blank :merchant: comatose expression on his face :wow:
