I'm not saying he did. He's addressing with the argument was initially about. I'm saying that one argument doesn't have to be sidetracked to pose a different one. Both those things need to be addressed but RIGHT NOW the argument is about what it's about. Both are important things. Preserving the true history of our culture is important af and doesn't deserve to be belittled because we have other issues within it.
Ok what is fat joe busta crazy legs Pete rock all said

“It’s all yours it’s all FBA all of hip-hop belongs to you”

Would that make people happy?

Real question

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Watch it - literally allows the OG's of hiphop to tell their stories on the origin. The creators from when Jamar and KRS were still in nutsacks.

If you don't then you must not care that much about the truth, you're just motivated by other reasons :manny:
I will watch it as long as it's not peddling the idea that hip hop as a culture started anywhere outside of the Bronx.

No. The truth would make people happy. Real answer. KRS is the one who called people stupid for believing otherwise like he's some end all be all. KRS was wrong. And I don't even fukk wit LJ.

I’m thinking that’s what people want from them tell them it’s FBA

Step away

I’m truly seeing that

Black Americans created hip hop and other groups helped grow it alongside black Americans. I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to say that.
Nah don’t even say the 2nd part at this point

Just step away

I’m seeing that’s what people want

No. Hip Hop is a Black American culture that was participated in and contributed to by other groups. Specifically Jamaicans and Puerto Ricans. That's the truth. That's all that's needed.

Because there is no diaspora war in Hip Hop culture. Lord Jamar out here looking crazy repeating Tariq Nasheed separatist rhetoric.
It’s not separating. It’s making sure history is told correctly. It’s nothing wrong with saying black Americans created hip hop which they did. Other groups helped contribute to grow it.

Lord Jamar used to be a 5%.

He now believes the earth is flat and he is a native not from Africa. 5% could do the mathematics on the circumference of the earth as part of their knowledge. They definitely knew the earth was a globe. Dude is regressing

He might as well be a coli bro.

The Internet has KO'd so many fools.
used to be?
Lord Jamar still rocks the Universal Flag on his neck!

The problem with this comment is that you seem to be unaware of why LJ even made the clip. LJ has been getting shytted on in the comments every since he started repeating that Tariq Nasheed rhetoric about what ethnicity started Hip Hop. The comments got to him so now he's reaching thinking people really care about a topic that only him and Tariq Nasheed are stressing. .

And besides, the whole FBAs started Hip Hop rhetoric has holes in it because before Herc you had King Charles. It seems that whole "FBAs started Hip Hop"crowd cant get around acknowledging King Charles (who is Jamacian ) was before Herc along with Disco Mario and Flowers being that you mentioned "preserving history."

No leave it the FBA’s

Those are guests like Tariq is saying

Say it’s the fba’s step away

Forget the back and forth

It will make people happy

What bugged me out was people reaching back to shyt on so many for no reason

The FBA only matters crowd was on embid neck the last few days

Which made them reach back to shyt on Ewing and dream for playing on the dream teams

It’s comical at this point

Just stay away from each other it’s the best way

Like I said in post #40, King Charles who is Jamaican was right there with Flowers and Disco Mario before Herc and that is the history. Not acknowledging King Charles would definitely be "separating."

Regardless of what u say. Hip hop is still very much a black American artform. History being told right is important. People was running around saying Hip Hop started in Jamaica n all kinda bullshyt without any pushback. And it took Jamaicans themselves to break that down.
