What I always found strange though was back in the day I saw Biggie listed in the liner notes as a guest feature. Did I miss something?

Yeah but if I remember correctly, it's not just listed as a sample. There was a actual listing like he was a guest feature. Something like, "Thr Notorious BIG appears courtesy of Bad Boy Records." I don't have the actual album anymore but I remember being hyped to hear a Biggie verse then discovering there wasn't.

I guess that kind of stuff happens. Like "Next Episode" being listed on the first run of "Doggystyle" albums

Who fukks with this album, IMO it's crazy underrated. Finesse with beautiful production, on the mic he was a nice lyricist and had punch lines at the level of Big L.
