OP's not wrong on a couple of points. Bonner should have been on the bench, Blair should have had more minutes, and Jax probably should have had all of Green's minutes and been the main defender on Durant. But it's all hindsight 20/20 vision.

And still they had an opportunity to win.

In 2001, Phil Jackson called the Spurs coaching staff "the Simulator Crew" because none of them were former players...
Spurs fans got real mad at that sh1t (he also put an asterisk on their 1999 championship because of the lockout)

Meh

He actually hasn't played Bonner that much the last two games

The ONLY thing I can truely fault him for is not playing TP and/or Manu basically the whole game. It's the damn playoffs, ride the wheels until they fall off.

I wouldn't say the WHOLE game but you get what i'm saying; there was once a line up of TP, Neal, Green, Captain Jack, and Blair bruh....:wtf: was THAT suppose to equate to? Rest em towards the end of the quarter and maybe a minute or two to start a quarter but other than that, ride em.

Not his fault its amazing he got the team this far..Historically in the playoffs teams dont win titles relying on a bench and playing a lot of guys as much as he does..its about your 1 or 2 stars in the playoffs not your depth..

Spurs won those titles because of Duncan and because Duncan isnt the same player the Spurs arent as dangerous..You cant win a title with Parker as your best player..and a medicore Duncan

Pop that nikka, but this series hasn't been his best coaching job. Going 10-11 deep in the playoffs is coming back to bit him in the ass, because none of the bench players have established any consistency.

Thunder are just better..only so long you can rely on Danny Green Bonner or Gary Neal heavily..that shyt doesnt fly in the playoffs..

As someone said Duncan isnt the same and the Spurs havent won a title since hes slipped..

Pop and Phil Jackson are so overrated. Who couldn't win with 3 in their prime, 1st ballot Hall of Famers on there team? :beli:

Phillip won in 2009 and 2010 with one first ballot hall of famer on the team.
