BET is interested in catering to the younger demographics, not just for this awards show but in general with their network...y'all saying there's no big names but to the younger gen those are (at the moment) some of the biggest names of their lifetimes.

The older generation (those born in the 80s and early 90s) is not who the channel is focusing on when it comes to this stuff.

I haven't watched the BET awards in years, much less any award show whether it's the Oscars, VMAs, Academy Awards, or etc awards shows just aren't my thing and plus I don't really follow much of the buildup to these awards being given but I don't hate on them either.

Will's comeback run is something they are going to study in colleges.

Not to be arrogant, because he's above the BET awards, but they both need each other atm. Haven't watched the awards myself in years.

It shows the importance of being talented and likable because 99.99% of Hollywood wouldn't have been able to pull off this comeback and only maybe two other black entertainers at the most.
