I dont have a problem with Big E winning. I been a fan of his for a long time. I said earlier, as long as a black man leaves Raw with the title I was good.

Cosign. Happy for him as it's well overdue, but clearly was a reactionary call and i worry about the booking ahead. I almost can hear Vince saying "we are not pushing Big E" the same way he did when they had Dolph cash in. Basically just for a shock moment and could drop it as early as Extreme RulesAs happy as I was/am for Big E, this really rubs me the wrong way. They just wasted a potential kofimania type storyline with Big E with a basic reactionary raw championship win due to AEW beating WWE in the ratings.
Now he’s thrown into the fire, and set up for failure due to them not building up to this whatsoever. His character isn’t ready for the belt yet. If they were gonna do this, they should’ve gave E the strap during Summerslam to avenge Kofis and Woods’ beat down, and used the Lashley/Goldberg feud for raw and saudimania without the belt.
THEY COULDVE GIVEN US LASHLEY VS LESNAR AT MANIA! Then let Big E cash in, and win for a mania moment……I hate to be negative, but they fukked this all up, and I don’t want it to affect him in the long run

A Lashley vs Lesnar feud doesn't need the title. I would argue that a Roman vs Rock one doesn’t either.

Real talk or if they were gonna put the title on Big E then why not do it on Summer Slam on a grand stage. I don't understand the logic making him champ between SS and Extreme Rules. The whole point is to make Big E a star. This seems to be the last option that was made for Vince and of course Vince went with the last option.

I had no idea he would even be on raw until I was spoiled of his win on Instagram this morning. I guess that’s my fault for not daring to watch raw live with their history.. In a way it feels like they missed out on an opportunity to really promote this and a opportunity to surprise the brave souls that still watch live.. Not to be picky but their panic and desperation showed here.
However with that being said
they did the right thing here and it was a good show aside from Eva Marie . Best raw is many moons. I hope Big E gets a good push with some interesting feuds for once.I am glad he won but WWE has not built interesting feuds around their Babyface champions in forever, its just come out and win until we ready to move on to someone else..

Lashely vs Leonard doesn’t need the title, IF Rock comes back him and Roman closes the show easily. This is the perfect opportunity to have Big E start feeling big headed and feeling like he don’t need them anymore. They can have them cost him tag matches or even better have them start feeling like they are all the champions.. I doubt it happens but this is a chance to get some long term storytelling to lead into mania.
