Looking back on Floyd Mayweather's career.....who was the best fighter that he beat?

Floyd Mayweather has 45 names on his resume. 45 have tried and 45 have failed....he's 46-0 and looks to be getting very close to that 50-0 mark


Thinking about his resume and all his accomplishments which, in my mind, make him the best fighter of the last 25 years, who would you say was the best single fighter that he beat? The 1 definite fighter that would beat any of Floyd's other opponents in a boxing match at an equal/close weight class (130 vs 135, 135 vs 140, 140 vs 147, and 147 vs 154). The catch is, each fighter is at the same age/prime they were when Floyd fought them....not at their individual best, just where they were in their careers when Floyd fought them.

130: Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, & Diego Corrales

135: Emmanuel Augustus, Jose Luis Castillo, & Phillip N'Dou

140: Demarcus Corley & Arturo Gatti

I would say the best opponent he faced from 130-135 is Diego Corrales, from 135-140 is Jose Luis Castillo, from 140-147 is kinda tough.....Ima go with Zab Judah, and from 147-154 Im going with Oscar De La Hoya

All these fights, except the Judah fight was AFTER Floyd already beat them. That goes against the whole idea of this thread.

And, just so everyone is clear, Floyd had a better victory over Judah than Kostya Tszyu had being that Tszyu was losing the fight before landing that punch. Floyd dominated Judah thoroughly from, what, rounds 5 and on?

We're not discussing what happened to these fighters after they fought Floyd. Only discussing how they were looked at leading up until they actually got in the ring with Floyd.
